Podcasts featuring local nonprofit, veteran
and business groups that are dedicated to human care services; giving our
local leaders a platform to share their compelling stories with our
community; because we believe these folks have something to say, and someone needs to
hand them the mic!
The focus
of the program is to highlight the services that these
local organizations provide, as well as advocate their cause for a
stronger community. The host seeks to bring out the passion and
conviction of their message, to offer compelling opportunities for participation and support that inspires us to be part of the solution to the needs on the street... to take action now instead of later!
Hosted
by Nancey Kolb, Founder and President of IHS Anteparare,
Inc. Consulting, Advocacy and fund development through Anteparare
Foundation (a non-profit allocations program). Since 2010, Nancey travels throughout
Northern California, speaking and advocating for the community;
going out on the road to discover "The Needs on the Street"; and handing
folks the mic, to tell their story.
"The services and programs of our nonprofit
and human care organizations should be treated like valued community
assets!" exclaims Ms. Kolb. A resident of Redding for the past 25 years,
raising her son and daughter as a single mother; graduating
from California State University, Chico, in 1996, with a Bachelor Degree
in Public Relations and a paralegal minor. Nancey invested five years in the banking industry; went on to become
President and CEO of one of the largest national and international
nonprofit organizations in Northern California and has given more than ten years of successful
service in the nonprofit sector through the local United Way, serving from 2001 through 2010.
Nancey's dedication to managing agency allocations and distribution processes are a matter of record, doing an outstanding job. Ms. Kolb is successful in conducting capital, federal and state campaigns and in the past has raised well over half a million dollars in annual distributions for local community services.
Today, Nancey brings her warm personality, successful experience and continued dedication to the community through her new business, IHS Anteparare, Inc. through Consulting and Advocacy. She continues to build funding streams to serve the community through Anteparare Foundation. She launches out to build her life's dream, remains a local nonprofit volunteer and an avid supporter for the cause of others. She wants to hear what you have to say - to hand YOU the mic!
